Don't Touch

ONSITE Festival /Brucke Museum 2023
A movement-based inquiry into intimacy, perception, and institutional alienation.
What does it mean to meet an artwork; to move with it, not just around it? In this work, traditional art-viewing conventions are quietly subverted through slow, continuous movement practices in proximity to artwork, without physical contact.
The choreography unfolds in real time, guided by three simple rules: move slowly, vocalise quietly, don’t touch. Performed in museum and gallery contexts, this embodied practice gently subverts art space norms, offering a mode of relation that’s less cerebral and more felt.
