On Being Ruderal explores the cracks of urban ecologies and the resilience of ruderal species within them. A multimedia lecture performance on spontaneity, adaptation, bad herbs, and unwelcome thoughts.

Blending poetic inquiry, projection mapping, soundscape and installation, the project adopts a more-than-human perspective to explore the diverse and interconnected lifeforms which inhabit urban landscapes and consider new ways of coexisting with nature and one another.
